The Shropshire Hearth and Rescue Service obtained a name at 2.55am reporting the incident at a property on Mere Close within the Sutton Farm space.
One fireplace equipment was mobilised from Shrewsbury Hearth Station.
Firefighters found the ‘flooding affecting electrics’ was brought on by a leaking boiler within the property’s loft area.
The incident concluded at 4am.
